A community-based apartment maintenance service
Contact visits, laundry service, purchase and delivery of food products and medicines prescribed by the doctor, delivery of hot dinner, help with fall and winter work, payment of utility bills, escorting to institutions, regular delivery of information about vaccinations, benefits and assistance, with elderly people in need of home care.
Day social center based services
Laundry service, educational sessions and trainings on healthy aging, teaching and selling handicrafts, involvement in social events, excursions, exchange visits and assistance in solving legal and social issues for the elderly at the day care center.
Cash and voucher assistance
Two hundred GEL pharmacy vouchers were given to Ukrainian seniors affected by the crisis of the war in Ukraine.
housekeeping
Home care is the provision of medical and social services at the place of residence for persons who, due to physiological conditions or physical or mental pathologies, have limited ability to take care of themselves temporarily or long-term and need care. Housekeeping includes: management of the client's health condition (medical, nursing and nurse assistant services), which do not belong to the competence of inpatient treatment; assisting the client in daily activities (movement, personal hygiene) and use of tools (use of objects and tools); providing psycho-social support to the client and his environment and recommendations for creating an adapted environment for the client; To reveal the resources and skills of the beneficiary and his entourage and to help them develop. The client is served by: a doctor, a nurse, a nurse's aide, a social worker, a family aide, a technical assistant. Medical care - doctor's and nurse's visits to the apartment (treatment of wounds/beds, injection, stoma/catheter care, rehabilitation, prevention. Personal care - full/partial bathing, diaper changing, cleaning of the client's room and personal belongings, food delivery. Social care - mediation with state institutions. Provision of medicines within the framework of the state program, transfer/exit to the hospital, bank, etc. The frequency of staff visits is determined individually, depending on the need. The duration of the visit depends on the procedure. The service is provided to socially vulnerable persons free of charge, registration is done through the municipality. The price of the package for persons without socially vulnerable status is 450 GEL per month.
