On June 3, 2009 Georgia Red Cross Society (GRCS) together with its volunteers visited school of children with visual disability and brought them a "VESTEL" TV set.

Through May 2-6, 2009 the Red Cross volunteers cleaned the square located in front of the GRCS headquarters; The square will be called a "Red Cross Square" soon.
On 6 May, 2009 GRCS organized a charity action for M. Iashvili Central Hospital for Children. The event was organized by Red Cross Youth Volunteers and was intended for 23 children sick with leukemia.
In the framework of the "Red Cross Week" on May 7 an intellectual competition was organized on May by GRCS youth department in #24 public school of Tbilisi
On May 5, 2009 GRCS presented a donation box in "Ambasadori" hotel. The amount collected in the donation box will be transferred to the GRCS charity fund which will enable National Society to assist vulnerable population through charity activities.
