On June 1, 2010 GRCS Gardabani branch organized a charity action dedicated to the International Children's Day. The event was participated by IDP children and the funds were raised by GRCS Gardabani branch volunteer group "Young Volunteers".
On May 8, 2010 in order to commemorate the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Day GRCS Batumi branch volunteers organized a march in the seaside city.
In order to commemorate the International RC/RC Day GRCS Sagarejo branch volunteers prepared Red Cross related posters and placed them in Sagarejo city public schools. Posters aimed at reminding target audience on the importance and role of the International RC/RC Movement.
GRCS Kutaisi branch organized several actions to celebrate the International RC/RC Day. One of the events was attended by Eka Minjoria, Zugdidi ICRC office representative and all actions were actively participated by 57 young and elderly volunteers of Kutaisi branch.
May 8 - World Red Cross/ Red Crescent Day is celebrated all around the world. In order to comemorate this remarkable date GRCS organised Red Cross Week, which was officially closed on May 8 with the major fundraising action on K. Gamsakhurdia Avenue.
On 5 May, 2010 in the frames of the "Red Cross Week" GRCS organized a charity action in M. Iashvili Central Hospital for Children. The charity action targeted 25 children with leukaemia.
On May 6, 2010 the presentation of Red Cross donation box was organized at "Prospero's Books" (34 Rustaveli Ave). The event was dedicated to the Red Cross Week and was actively participated by the Red Cross staff and volunteers, who distributed information leaflets about the GRCS activities.
On May 4, 2010 in the framework of the "Red Cross Week" dedicated to Red Cross and Red Crescent World Day, GRCS organized a seminar on Red Cross Movement in British Georgian Academy (BGA) and at the same time the "Committee of Five" was established.
