On February 25, 2010 Mrs. Nana Keinishvili, President of Georgia Red Cross Society and Atakan Turhan, General Manager of Radisson Blu Iveria Hotel signed the cooperation agreement. Under the agreement the National Society has placed three donation boxes at the above mentioned hotel.

Within this cooperation Radisson Blu Iveria Hotel will be able to make its contribution to the improvement of lives of vulnerable people. The hotel will have an opportunity to participate in numerous charity actions organized by GRCS.

The signing ceremony was attended by the Red Cross/ Red Crescent International Movement partners including Mrs. Ariane Tombet, head of ICRC (International Committee of Red Cross) delegation to Georgia and Mr. Elkhan Rahimov, head of IFRC (International federation of Red Cross/Red Crescent societies) Georgia delegation.

Red Cross active volunteers organized the donation box opening ceremony in a rather impressive way. These volunteers participate in Red Cross actions on regular basis and make their valuable contribution to the numerous charity actions implemented by the National Society.
