International Youth Summer Camp in Turkey
Through 2-12 August 2010 four GRCS volunteers and youth officer participated in an international youth summer camp organized by the Turkish Red Crescent Society in Bursa, Mudanya.

Non State Actors meeting
On August 5 2010, Non State Actors meeting took place at Radisson Blu Iveria hotel. The event is regularly organized by Disaster Management department of Georgia Red Cross Society. The meeting was attended by 24 representatives of Non-Governmental sector as well as 4 participants from governmental structures.

Working meeting with head of Tbilisi city Sakrebulo
On July 30, 2010 GRCS initiated a joint meeting of International Red Cross and Red Crescent movement partners with Zaal Samadashvili, Head of Tbilisi city Sakrebulo.

Round table meetings in Sagarejo and Gardabani
On 11 June 2010, GRCS Gardabani Branch and on 15 June Sagarejo branch hosted the round table meetings with the participation of local government representativs, GRCS volunteers and local project beneficiaries, mass media and NGOs. GRCS volunteers presented the report on activities implemented within the project " Branch development through effective service delivery". The above mentioned project is implemented with the support of International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (financial contribution of Danish Red Cross).

GRCS staff members' field visit to Akhaltsikhe
On July 6, 2010 GRCS HQ three staff members visited GRCS Akhaltsikhe branch and conducted a dissemination session. The branch leadership and 9 volunteers gained basic knowledge on the International RC/RC Movement and GRCS work. Also the main directions of GRCS communication strategy were introduced in order to promote the GRCS perception and visibility in the region.

On July 2, 2010 GRCS headquarters hosted the press conference on the following topic: Regional Programme for Building Safer Local Communities in South Caucasus. The programme is co- financed by European Commission (DIPECHO), Danish Red Cross and Icelandic Red Cross.

Business sector taking action for social responsibility in Georgia
Business in Georgia reveals its social responsibility. On June 28, 2010 Mete Erkal, General Manager of TAV Georgia, Tbilisi International Airport and Gocha Guchashvili, the Secretary General of Georgia Red Cross Society signed the agreement on cooperation between their institutions in the framework of Corporative Partnership Programme. Prior to establishment of this structural cooperation between the business and humanitarian organisation TAV Georgia since 2008 actively participated in charity actions organised by Georgia Red Cross Society as well as allocated the area for the Red Cross donation box in the departure hall of Tbilisi International Airport.

GRCS staff members' working visit to Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society
Through June 17-19, 2010 three GRCS staff members have advanced their knowledge and know-how in the frames of fundraising and the program on Mines through the visit to Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society. The intensive knowledge and experience sharing meetings have been organized with the respective staff members of the host National Society which provided GRCS representatives with the relevant information in the above mentioned areas.

The Memorandum of Understanding between the Explosive Remnants of War Coordination Centre (ERWCC) and the Georgia Red Cross Society (GRCS) signed
On June 4, 2010 Explosive Remnants of War Coordination Centre and Georgia Red Cross Society concluded a Memorandum of Understanding on exchange of casualty data caused by mines and explosive remnants of war (ERW) and victims' needs in Georgia.
