In 2005 a health cabinet was opened in the GRCS Gardabani local branch. In the beginning the cabinet offered echoscope diagnostics, later in 2006 the cardio logical diagnostics service was added. The project beneficiaries were lone elderly pensioners.

Since January 2009 the free medical diagnostics and medication is provided for vulnerable elderly and the IDPs accommodated in Gardabani as a result of the armed conflict in August 2008. Apart from providing service to Gardabani city residents, GRCS health cabinet in cooperation and agreement with the local governance also provides medical service in the villages belonging to Gardabani region. The doctors involved in the medical project with the help of the portable equipment visit homes and free medical diagnostics of the population is carried out at their living places. The visits are implemented on regular basis twice a month.

Apart from the above mentioned GRCS Gardabani branch health cabinet upon the request of different organizations provides service for the employees of those organizations. For instance medical diagnostics is provided for the staff of kinder gardens and schools.
It should be noted that the health cabinet operates in the framework of the Participatory Community Development project. This project is implemented in Gardabani with the support of the local government.
